Johnny's 5-member idol group, Sexy Zone have topped the albums chart with their first album, "one Sexy Zone." They are the youngest male group to have achieved this at the average age of 15.4 years old, in which the record was previously held 10 years and 11 months ago by 3-member group, w-inds. with "w-inds. ~1st message~" (December 2001) at the average age of 16.3 years old. Sexy Zone also holds the record for the youngest group with no.1 debut single ("Sexy Zone" in November last year), and the youngest male group with no.1 DVD ("Sexy Zone Arena Concert 2012" in August this year).
In the singles chart, Johnny's 7-member group, Kis-My Ft2 have achieved their 5th consecutive no.1 single since debut single ("Everybody Go" in August last year) with "Ai no Beat." It has been 2 years and 9 months since a male group have achieved 5 consecutive no.1 singles beginning with debut single, the last time being Hey!Say!JUMP until "Hitomi no Screen" (March 2010).
Meanwhile, popular Korean female group, KARA have reached the top spot in both music-DVD and overall DVD charts simultaneously with their live DVD, "KARA 1st JAPAN TOUR 2012 KARASIA." This is their 3rd no.1 DVD after "KARA BEST CLIPS" (February 2011) and "KARA BEST CLIPS 2 & Shows" (February 2012), putting them at no.1 among foreign female groups. The Blu-Ray version also reached no.1 in the music-BD chart as well as no.2 in the overall BD chart. It sold 13,593 copies, for a DVD+BD total of 43,553 copies.
