Minegishi Minami to be demoted into Kenkyusei (Research Student)

Regarding AKB48's Minegishi Minami scandal by Shunkan Bunshun earlier, it seems that the management already find the solution.

I’m Minegishi Minami from Umeda team B of AKB48.
I’m very sorry to have caused enormous worry to members, fans, staffs, my families and a lot of other people with the article in the weekly magaizne that is published today.

As the 1st generation member of AKB48, the group that has formed in 2005, it’s my responsibility to always behave as a good role model to juniors. I deeply regret what I did this time. It was a thoughtless deed and I was completely lacking self-awareness as a senior member.
My brain blanked out and I’m still unable to figure out what to do, what I can do. But after I saw the magazine a little ago, I couldn’t help but doing something. And I decided to shave my head without consulting any member or staff at my agency.
Although I don’t think I would be forgiven by doing this, the first thing that I went through my head was that “I don’t want to leave AKB48.”
This is a place where my dear members, who I spent my blossom of youth together, are. And it’s unimaginable to even think about leaving the group where I’m with so many wonderful and sweet fans.
I understand it’s wishful thinking, but if it’s possible, I would like to still be AKB48′s Minegishi Minami.
This is all my fault.
I’m truly sorry.
I will leave my hereafter to the hands of Akimoto-sensei and management.
Though I haven’t been able to tidy my mind up, but I just wanted to tell my current feeling to you.
Thank you so much for listening to me.

Seriously, it hurt so much to see Miichan in this condition. I think this is the first time she cut her hair. Well, congrats to Shunkan Bunshun for destroying her and Masuda Yuka's career in just a few months. And to think that Miichan is 1st generation member! T-T But at least she didn't graduate.... Miichan's fans, show your love to her in the next election!

Edit: Okay, I think this is too sweet to be ignored. 1st generation member (minus Kojima Haruna). Even Acchan's there! Apparently, Takamina also cut her hair (It is far more shorter than when she get haircut because her hair burned). Not sure about Acchan though, because I think she wear extension before, so I don't know her original hair length From Itano Tomomi's twitter

believe I think even the management is regretting this right now, they thought maybe she could have still gained some support but this is going too far and (even if I love AKB and Miichan) I'm starting to think she really did too much and should have left the group, even if she didn't want to. Because her friends and other members are going to be the target for some random antis out there. That's how I feel now...saddening

Aw, I respect her decision to stay. I know where she's coming from with that, I am Uchi Hiroki's fan and, trust me, he did worse than Miichan as underage drinking is beyond against idols rules, it's against the country's rules. But he chose to start all over again, so I can understand her feelings concerning this part. Only that the shaving seems a desperate measure caused by over-reactions (some wotas comments were really cruel). Every person is different, I guess, and Miichan did show us that with her way of reacting to this scandal. And yes, probably the management are regretting that they allowed her to do such a video. There's a flagging the video campain supported by people who aren't even into J-Pop.

omg can we be friends, I'm uchi's fan too ;__;

I know it took a lot to her to shave her head because she was sincerely sorry. But I'm talking about the impact this scandal will have on the whole group, not only her. And even if she said her true feelings her life isn't going to get any easier soon, as well as her carrieer, she should have just accpeted the demotion and kept quiet like Oba Mina did and maybe she would have been fine. And yeah some wotas are really sick, they live in their own brain and think that their fantasies are reality. The worst in all this is that I don't even think she was really going out with Alan :[ poor girls can't even have male friends

EDIT: I think people who don't know the story and japanese culture are making this way too big.

Uchi fans are always friends. At least I met some fans with the years that joined afterwards and still supported him. But most of the fans who came later into Kanjani or NEWS never wanted him back T_T

yeah most of them despise him for no reasons, like they don't even try to know him. :( do you have a twitter account or smt?
okadarei 1st-Feb-2013 09:39 pm (UTC)
yeah I've got a twitter account with the same nickname I've got here.

The thing is, when people say this case is misogyny, I can't help but recall how Uchi keeps appologizing for his own scandal, and I understand that the type of rule she broke is not what it matters, is the fact she broke one.
