Shirahama Alan’s agency releases statement regarding Shukan Bunshun’s report

On January 31, LDH the agency fo GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE’s Shirahama Alan, released a short statement regarding Shukan Bunshun’s report about his relationship with AKB48’s Minegishi Minami.

According to their comment, “We leave his private life up to him. He told us that they were nothing more than just good friends.

Shunkan Bunshun reported that Minegishi spent the night at Shirahama’s place, on the latest issue published on the 31st. It caused Minegishi’s demotion to Kenkyuusei, and she also posted an apology video on AKB48’s official YouTube channel with a shaved head.

I hope more agencies would become like LDH in regards of dating rules. Thank you HIRO-papa <3

Edit: Wow those angry wotas hating on him. Some fans need to understand that he didn't do anything wrong nor is he able to fix anything. They should also stop calling him a coward with no balls who doesn't support his friend. You don't know what happened in private.

Well, sincerely I think that, considering is a subject about him, the best thing he could do was talk about it himself and not just let his agency do it.

Even if he didn't do something wrong, it's chauvinistic to let the woman carry with all the responsibility of their actions - Miichan might broke the rules for idols, yet, why cannot him say anything? You're right that it wouldn't help at all (and maybe I'm wrong for thinking this), but a real man would at least open his mouth (especially when his agency is relatively liberal).

And I'm leaving aside that I'm fan of the 48 groups, my opinion is taking basis in the fact I'm a woman and if problem came with seeing someone, it would be good to know he addresses the subject HIMSELF. Because an scandal (in this case) is made by two people.

He did, he tweeted about it. He said she stayed over and that they're friends. And that he feels sorry.

Though then, when you think about it, it might very well be that he's not allowed to address it himself.

Whether or not I'm more of a fan from one group than another, I feel for both of them. They never did anything wrong.

Yeah, my bad. I thought so too till I saw a screencap pop up. Should have looked at it better. (Guess I need some more sleep...)

But that still doesn't changed the fact I think none of them both needs to clarify what they've done or need to be punished for it at all.

I agree with you 100%! Altough I hate the term "real man", let's just say a "decent human".
And I don't care if he isn't an idol or whatever, I find it incredibly disgusting that the woman take all the blame. Also I think they are not just friends, I don't think Miichan would shave her head because she had a slumber party with a male friend. And this just makes it worse that the guy's agency said that they are only friends nothing more... if that's the case why this all horrible thing happened to Miichan? This whole situation is plaine disgusting.

I honestly think whether he admits or does nothing it will turn out the same. I'm not sure how the AKB wotas are reacting but it's going to take a hit on his career and if worse, the entire group too. Since GENERATIONS is a fairly new group they could easily lose new fans and since Minegashi already has a fan base and now a lot of exposure, she still has a career.

If he says "Yeah we had a thing I'm sorry." the wotas are just going to be like "YOU SCUMBAG HOW DARE YOU TOUCH OUR IDOL" and now it's like "We are just friends." the wotas are like "TAKE RESPONSIBILITY".

Really? It's just going to be the same thing.

I don't think it'll really affect him. Completely different fanbases aside from possible casual fans, who usually stop caring about things like scandals after a couple of weeks.

I hope so. I'm just thinking more of the wota abuse that he might get. :/

Tbh Alan doesn't owe the public or 48wotas any explanation. It's not like there is a sex scandal involved or anything immoral, not like this is another Edison Chen sex scandal.

Moreover we don't even know whats their exact relationship. There is no responsibility involved in this, they're just friends as they claimed. Its just that Miichan has much crazier fans than Alan and Alan agency has a more humane dating rules than AKB48.

What do you want Alan to say? Anything Alan says now will get Miichan into deeper trouble.

This so much, you're all treating Alan as if he's making her take the blame on purpose but if he says anything else it's just adding fuel to the fire. The best thing he can do right now is support her privately as a friend.
