On January 31, LDH the agency fo GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE’s Shirahama Alan, released a short statement regarding Shukan Bunshun’s report about his relationship with AKB48’s Minegishi Minami.

According to their comment, “We leave his private life up to him. He told us that they were nothing more than just good friends.

Shunkan Bunshun reported that Minegishi spent the night at Shirahama’s place, on the latest issue published on the 31st. It caused Minegishi’s demotion to Kenkyuusei, and she also posted an apology video on AKB48’s official YouTube channel with a shaved head.

I hope more agencies would become like LDH in regards of dating rules. Thank you HIRO-papa <3

Edit: Wow those angry wotas hating on him. Some fans need to understand that he didn't do anything wrong nor is he able to fix anything. They should also stop calling him a coward with no balls who doesn't support his friend. You don't know what happened in private.

LDH isn't an idol agency, there's prolly more leeway in terms of rules.

Yes, I just read that and understand.

But, why go on with something that might hurt the other person? I mean, if they were friends, this fuzz would've been avoided: being free to date or see anyone means lot of possibilities and even if the girl affected was the daughter of store clerk (for saying an example), that doesn't mean Aran shouldn't state something on his own and at least say HIMSELF that Minami is/was his friend.

If he's not an idol, then (in my opinion) is more reason to release his own statement and not let the agency do it; same happened months ago when Masuda Yuka left. Yes, she was ready to graduate AKB48, yet she took the whole responsibility of everything, when the man involved remained quiet.

The career itself doesn't change the fact that the woman is the one who takes all the damage while he keeps his head up. That's what upsets me the most...

(Hope to have explained myself correctly, English is not my first language. Sorry!)

I dunno why he didn't. I was just responding to OP's "I hope more agencies would become like LDH in regards of dating rules."

[edit, never mind.] But yeah, I dunno why.

I think that if he did that now, it would be too late anyway. Her actions are basically her indirectly admitting it was something that broke the rules that were set up beforehand. She should have denied it, because with both of them saying they were just friends, who's to know it's any different? The magazine does have that photo (and I get the feeling that in Japan you don't just spend the night with a friend of the opposite sex) but there's total deniability (I know that's not a word but you get what I'm saying) because she's got a hat and a mask on.
