Shirahama Alan’s agency releases statement regarding Shukan Bunshun’s report

On January 31, LDH the agency fo GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE’s Shirahama Alan, released a short statement regarding Shukan Bunshun’s report about his relationship with AKB48’s Minegishi Minami.

According to their comment, “We leave his private life up to him. He told us that they were nothing more than just good friends.

Shunkan Bunshun reported that Minegishi spent the night at Shirahama’s place, on the latest issue published on the 31st. It caused Minegishi’s demotion to Kenkyuusei, and she also posted an apology video on AKB48’s official YouTube channel with a shaved head.

I hope more agencies would become like LDH in regards of dating rules. Thank you HIRO-papa <3

Edit: Wow those angry wotas hating on him. Some fans need to understand that he didn't do anything wrong nor is he able to fix anything. They should also stop calling him a coward with no balls who doesn't support his friend. You don't know what happened in private.

Well, I don't mean he should be punished, I just wish guys would own up to their side in scandals more. Usually when a idol scandal happens, the guy stays quiet but the girl has to go through all these things...

yes I'm aware of that but you said HSJ dude would be in trouble if he got caught and I just replied saying that's not true

a famous male idol dated a famous techno pop artist and nothing happened to him

Nino is said to have sex in public rest rooms, nothing happens to him

some je peeps have photos taken with a porn star, nothing happens to them

usually when a JE guy is rumored to be involved with an actress from a drama he's in who gets blacklisted? the girl or the guy?

ETA: Perfume aren't an idol group they don't have a no dating rule. All of them were caught in similar "scandals" but they have denied being in relationships in order to keep up appearances, but I doubt they were punished for dating.

I think age has to do something with it too. You can't try to keep a "pure" or "clean" image when you're pushing 30 but you can in your late teens-early twenties. Also, Nino is much more famous than a lot of celebrities right now. Also the HikaruXAchan scandal was probably blown off cause it wasn't as evident as spending the night as said lover's house.

my main point is the world is still very misogynistic it's pretty obvious when a girl has to shave her head to prove how sorry she is, but the dude can stay quiet.

and I think the no dating for guys groups is so they look "available" not "clean and pure" that's why girls get blacklisted from dramas that had johnny's that they were rumored to be with so crazy fangirls wont feel threaten and see their fave be "taken" by some harlot.

(yes i said harlot, i'm in an old-timey mood today)

read your comments made me remember johnny’s latest rumors with AKB.
Can you imagine if yamapi and yuko rumors are true?it will much more trouble, not like it were near to be true though. just want to say that both wotas and JE fans sometimes are crazy.
Agree with your statement ,its not about “girl” and “boy” ,its about “famous” and “the rules of agency”

When male idols such as Johnny's get caught dating, they have no choice but to deny it so they don't get backlash from the crazy batshit fans who think that they have ownership over the idol. I've seen plenty of female celebs who get caught in dating scandals, they also deny it and don't get punished, although if they are caught with a Johnny they may be blacklisted for reasons? Like fans getting upset if the see the girl in the same vicinity of their idol.

And if Johnny's are caught in a dating scandal it's usually management who releases a statement on behalf of the idol

Idol culture and their obsessive fans, and their management catering to this type of insanity is the main issue here.

it's not like johnny's come off scott free either, but then again it depends if you're one of the "golden boys" or sth.

Well, they do get it easier than their female counterparts, I'm just saying that it's a management thing, not individual when it comes to responding to dating scandals. Therefore the boys themselves shouldn't be blamed for their lack of comment.

no denying that :/ and yeah, it's advisable if it didn't it come directly from him atm, it might cause more fumes to the flame.
