Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has revealed that she will be releasing a new single titled “Invader Invader” on May 15th.
Kyary’s 6th overall single will be her new song “Invader Invader”, which is currently on-air as the commercial song for g.u. The song is said to be an 80’s-tinged electropop chiptune track written specifically for the commercial by Yasutaka Nakata (capsule). The coupling track for “Invader Invader” will be “Point of view” (the theme song written for Fuji TV’s news program “Ageru TV”) and “Fashion Monster -extended mix-“.
As the title might hint, the theme for the artwork of her latest single will be ‘otherworldly creatures’. The limited edition jacket cover features a proud Kyary showing off the ‘fairy Kyary’ on her index finger, while the regular edition jacket cover shows strange watermelon-headed creatures.
The limited edition, as always, will come in photobook format. Those who order the regular edition will receive one of three stickers.
