"Captain Harklock" Coming Back This Fall

Remember “Captain Harlock”? The sci-fi manga classic by Matsumoto Leiji sensei during the late 70s, where individual rebel against evil government in order to bring freedom and peace to humanity. Guess what? After years of decision making, the captain is making his comeback in the silver screen.

Toei has recently premiered their trailer for the upcoming CGI movie for “Captain Harlock” in Japanese theaters. Fukui Harutoshi will be responsible for the script, while Aramaki Shinji is directing the film with the “latest Hollywood technology” furthermore this film has Toei’s highest production budget ever at the equivalent of over 30 million U.S. dollars.’

The film is schedule to release this fall.
