Music videos for LDH girl groups Flower and Happiness' 5th singles

Following the announcement of a battle between the two groups, the music videos for the lead tracks of their singles have been revealed! The singles will be released simultaneously on the 7th August, and their sales will partly determine who the victor of the battle will be. Happiness' single is titled Sunshine Dream ~Ichido Kiri no Natsu~, while Flower's single is titled Taiyou to Himawari.

I thought MAYU will be back for this single..
KAREN and Risa's voice sounds kindda similar to me

Flower PV are too Reina-centric.Or is it just me?

MAYU is still too weak to perform and keep up with the pace of the whole All-country promos. Mononucleosis is a tricky disease, it could kill you if you don't rest properly and recover fully. I know because I've got a couple of friends who caught and it was a pain for them to get through. MAYU wasn't feeling strong enough to join them, so they all discussed it and decided she better waited to come back. She also stated herself that she didn't want to bring the group down because she's not at her best right now.

I consider myself more of a Happiness fan but Flower are slaying and taking names here so my vote goes to them.

Somehow I feel like Taiyou to Himawari resembles 3JSB's Hanabi a lot. And I love it.

I'm a little embarrassed for happiness tbh It's not that the song is terrible per se, but the song in combination with the styling & the dancing is a hot mess. I wrote on Twitter that they'd slay with a song like Namie Amuro's 'Hands On Me' or THE SECOND'S new song 'Survivors'. They need an upbeat dance track instead of this bubblegum mess that they keep being handed.

Flower on the other hand is really impressive. Beautiful song, beautiful dresses, beautiful dancing - love it!

I like FLOWER PV better, but Happiness song ain't that bad. It reminds me of older J-Pop songs, more 1990's, and it just fits with their usual brighter and cheerful image. Maybe the PV is the thing that lacks the most, but the song, I don't find it that bad.

I like Happiness pv and LOVE Flower's but the songs couldn't get more basic and boring, happiness can do better and flower has always sounded that generic to me so idc.

I'm forever Flower bias! <3 I tend to like everything Happiness does, but this seem really basic...

P.S. How many ppl were vocals in Taiyou to Himawari???

You can start with the lead singers. Reina is the main vocal, after that Kyoka (in this song), and the other one providing the harmony is Chiharu.

Then only work your way to the dancers lol.

I've always preferred Happiness over Flower but Taiyou to Himawari is just sooo pretty and perfect (except for too much Reina, I like her but Chiharu should also get some limelight not just Reina and Kyoka.

Happiness' song is ok but I'm not a fan of it...

As for the Boyfriend song, I prefer the Moonlight version, I like the blending of their voices in that version...(the only thing that should have been switched is the auto-tuned like boyfriend part in Flower's version...>_<)

I love FLOWER's song and PV! Happiness has a nice PV too but the song is a bit too generic (for me). And besides, Reina's voice trumps them all! XD

really? i never found reina's voice appealing actually. her tone is nothing special, and sometimes her voice is grating. might just be me though xD

Oh no, I didn't mean her tone, I meant her singing...Singers with good tone are not necessarily good singers, and good singers don't necessarily have nice tone...People may not like Reina's tone but she's seriously a good singer.

The dancing scenes in Happiness' PV didn't fit the song at all.
