damn D: i saw 'Mr Z' and the first thing that sprung to mind was B'z (simply because of the Z lol). 'One of the main members of a popular rock group who represents the 90s' probably rules that out though since they're a duo.

i think it might be Ryuichi Kawamura from Luna Sea too ><

I guessed Komuro Tetsuya just cause of how many copies Globe sold in the 90's and they did play those massive venues... but I'm probably way off....

Might be Hyde??? I mean, they're super popular back in 90s,, and even married, but I dunno if they're living separately or what... anyone might guess from the photo gesture??

I know I shouldn't even take the bait, but is there any reason at all to believe that this report is more than a rumor dreamt up by someone trying to bring traffic to their website?

The only person I immediately think of with a second home in the U.S., and a high profile band who reaches back to the 90's, is Yoshiki, but I'd easily bet it is not Yoshiki, as much for the fact that he seems much too high functioning and with it to have that kind of drug history, as for the fact that I've never heard that he was married, plus his band goes back to the 80's.

It would never even occur to me that it was hyde, for the similar reason that he always seems much too lucid and has remained on top of much too demanding a career and schedule, for too long.

I think you can only be so functional for so long, when you have a habit that long and serious, before your career, your mental and emotional balance, and your health, start to noticeably falter.

Anyway, we can hope it's not true for anybody.

- Married, but is living seperately due to circumstances (He had separated with Megumi awhile some years a go but know they are doing fine (I guess?). Even Megumi & their son had a travel to France when L'Arc~en~Ciel did tour world last year)
- Has been taking drugs for over ten years (10 years means 2003, when he did Kagen no Tsuki, 666, and birth of his son?)
- Has been going to DARC to undergo rehab for 5 years now (All I know what he has done for 5 years is fixing his teeth lol)
- Treated as top secret within DARC (?)
- Also receiving private treatment in his/her US vacation house (idk if he has a vacation house but may be, he visits US a lot)

The silhouette scares me. It looks like hyde's picture in 1997 and the pose and the cable so he might be a vocalist :'(

But with the Sakura's case with drugs back then and how he said on her autobiography that he hated the fact to lose Sakura due to that case, I don't think it's him >.

but L'Arc members are "traumatized"by Sakura's case
so, I think any L' member is using drugs .__.

L'Arc has had more that 2 lives in Tokyo dome, not just once
