Beckii Cruel: Independent Idol Documentary & PV for her latest single "Future Fantasy"

During the day, Rebecca Flint is your average 17 year old girl, Juggling exams with every day life. But when she's home, she's Beckii Cruel - internet and Japanese pop idol. Beckii Cruel: Independent Idol follows a 17 year old Beckii making her first single in Japanese in 3 years. It is directed by Adam Spence and was shot on the Isle of Man in January 2013.

Future Fantasy is an original song written in Japanese by Chelsea Chavis (remember Amerikajinmusume? she was basically a scandalous Beckii Cruel) and Matthew Pablo, arranged, produced and mastered by Sparkles* and recorded by Beckii. It's available worldwide on iTunes and Amazon today, August 18, 2013. Listen for free on Spotify.

Well, at least her Japanese pronunciation has gotten better. Not great, but better. And she is benefiting tons from the power of post-production, as far her singing voice is considered...

As for the documentary, once again lol @ the hyperbole concerning her 'success', and I see she is still a bit in denial about gravure modeling. Honey, it may not be as explicitly sexual as Western photos would be, but at the end of the day it's still just spank material for creepy older dudes, and when it involves underage girls that's kinda not cool. It's not just a matter of ~cultural difference~, it's gross and exploitive. At least good on her for not doing it herself, although that may more her parents decision than her own, so good on them.

I think she was purposely sugar coating the gravure business, but she's fully aware of it being fap material for a lot of (or most) men.

Not sure why she'd need to do that though because everyone is already aware of the same thing.
