Mainly my family and friends at home and my dog. Some of my friends last year turned out to be some of the worst people I've met in my life so I have uncertainties from that. -.-

Thanks for all your great ideas. ^^ It all made me feel a lot better just reading it.:)

Oh, I'm so glad you feel a little brighter already!

If you've got good friends, maybe as you're getting to know new people this time, you can talk to your friends at home about how things are going with them. When you get feedback from your friends that you can already trust, about the new people, and just hearing yourself talking about things, it might help you get your confidence back.

That sucks about those people last year!

Figuring people out is a constant learning curve, don't you think?

Yeah that's a really good idea. :) Thanks for all the great advice!

It really is. It's interesting how much the same friendship can mean to one person and is disposable to another too.

Yeah, I think that when people don't seem to value friendship, sometimes it's that they don't know the reality of it. You know how some people can't really feel a compliment, because they don't feel that way about themselves, so it's not in their reality that someone else sees them that way? With friendship, some people just don't have a decent personal life to train them and to lean back on. Of course, it's hard to look at it that way when someone who's supposed to be a friend acts like a jerk or just isn't there for you.

It's great that you have good friends and family.
