Among the reasons cited for Dragonball: Evolution winning this dubious honor: "There were almost no elements from the original story," "The characters and story were a mess," and "the leaping 'Kameameaa.'"

Whaat. But NANA was perfect. The first movie, anyway. Perhaps I'm the only one who thinks that...

Yes yes mte

mte! Pretty surprised it was even on the list.

Who was legit surprised that Dragonball Evolution tops this list? No one? That's what I thought.
bamboo 20th-Feb-2014 09:24 pm (UTC)
Automatic #1, the others shouldn't even have bothered.
inachan89 20th-Feb-2014 06:04 pm (UTC)
No way Dragonball wouln't have been first
kazuhime_10 20th-Feb-2014 09:23 pm (UTC)
Lol... dragonball. There are some things that shouldn't be made into a live action and that was definitely it. Hollywood jacked up that entire story with its bs characters and storyline... they truly sullied the dragonball franchise!!!

WTH. I loved the first NANA movie. ; A ; Got me into various actors and live-action dramas in general. ; ~ ;

Though I wasn't surprised about the Dragonball Movie or Gachaman. :<
Didn't like either of them.

I think NANA is perfect, at least the first NANA, since I didn't watch the second movie... but I really agree when they said that Dragonball Evolution is a failure, I practically crying in disappointment when I watch that T^T
arashinoookami 21st-Feb-2014 03:45 am (UTC)
Not surprised by number one at all!

I actually thought some of the others were really good though.
edneichon 21st-Feb-2014 04:11 am (UTC)
hi5 to number one, besides is like one of the worst movies ever made.
myharu 21st-Feb-2014 04:45 am (UTC)
and Gantz 2 is no where to be seen...My friends try to convince me to see the FotNS movie since I'm a fan of the franchise, but I refuse. Also, why is a non existent movie #1? I mean yeah the concept is just horrible, but this movie never came to be. It doesn't exist, stop ranking imaginary movies

No need to mention that heaping pile of poo at #1 so...

I don't know anything about Devilman (not even sure if there's both a manga and anime for it, probably is though) and when I saw it even I knew they goofed it up mega. That movie was so bad but I love the twins that were the leads in it. Man that was one of the corniest movies I've ever seen.

The shit is NANA on there ? I call BS on that. Where's Gantz that wasn't any good , nor did i think Death Note was all that great, but that's more IMO. Dragon Ball Z no one is surprised, but i do say it's unfair to just cast out all Hollywood over shitty live actions. I think the biggest reason why LA's are so piss poor in the U.S is cause people can get behind the idea of doing it, but when it comes to actual Spending Money to make a decent one NO ONE WANTS TO TRY. So you end up with shitty directors, shitty CGI, Shitty everything. I personal think if the U.S gave a flippin shit over actually making LA's they'd do a damn fine job. But it's all talk, instead of actually trying. Until the U.S can actually step up and make an LA that is actually Authentic to the Material instead of always white washing it and thinking that U.S citizens won't watch a movie with any white people. I honestly think all of us Americans just want BOOM BOOM EXPLOSIONS and not substance. Well we do love that shit, but you know there have been Top Grossing movies that prove you don't need White, Explosions, No Plot, Women with no Substance to make a Hollywood Blockbuster. Just Hollywood's to lazy to give a shit, until people actually start giving a shit we will keep pumping out shit.

That's my opinion. It's different and people can agree to disagree.
